The Sunday service on October 6 was followed by a harvest dinner. Over 50 people were treated to a fantastic 2-course meal. This consisted of lasagne (either meat or vegetable) with roast potato, carrots and peas. After this we had a choice of bread and butter pudding, crumble, trifle or rice pudding.
The meal was as good as if you had gone to the local restaurant. A good time of fellowship was had by all.
Special thanks to all the kitchen volunteers who spent the hours preparing a lovely meal – even with one cooker!!
